WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, has introduced legislation (S. 1754) to "reauthorize section 340H of the Public Health Service Act to continue to encourage the expansion, maintenance, and establishment of approved graduate medical residency programs at qualified teaching health centers."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 3 and has six co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Jon Tester, D-Mont., Thad Cochran, R-Miss., Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., Steve Daines, R-Mont., . . .
