WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 228) "calling for a credible, peaceful, free, and fair presidential election in Kenya in August 2017."
The resolution was introduced on July 20 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Christopher Coons, D-Del., Cory Booker, D-N.J., and Jeff Merkley, D-Ore. It was referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
