WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., has introduced legislation (S. 1608) to "authorize the Capitol Police Board to make payments from the United States Capitol Police Memorial Fund to employees of the United States Capitol Police who have sustained serious line-of-duty injuries."
The bill was introduced on July 20 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., and Christopher S. Murphy, D-Conn. It was referred to the Senate Rules and Administrat . . .
