WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., has introduced legislation (S. 1602) to "authorize the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a study to assess the suitability and feasibility of designating certain land as the Finger Lakes National Heritage Area."
The bill was introduced on July 20. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
