WASHINGTON, July 22 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the work patterns of older Americans and phased retirement programs. The report (GAO-17-536) is titled "Older Workers: Phased Retirement Programs, Although Uncommon, Provide Flexibility for Workers and Employers."
The report was sent to Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, chairman, and Sen. Robert Casey, D-Pa., ranking member of the Senate Special Committee on Aging, on June 20. Here are excerpts of summar . . .
