WASHINGTON, July 22 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the FirstNet's progress and efforts to ensure the network is reliable, secure, and interoperable. The report (GAO-17-569) is titled "Public-Safety Broadband Network: FirstNet Has Made Progress Establishing the Network, but Should Address Stakeholder Concerns and Workforce Planning."
The report was sent to Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., chairman of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee . . .
