WASHINGTON, July 21 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 1582) to establish the Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Commission.
The bill was introduced on July 19 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
