WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 1568) to "require the Secretary of the Treasury to mint coins in commemoration of President John F. Kennedy."
The bill was introduced on July 17 and was co-sponsored by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
