WASHINGTON, July 15 -- Sen. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., has introduced legislation (S. 1567) to amend title 38, U.S. Code, "to clarify the authority of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to disclose certain patient information to state controlled substance monitoring programs."
The bill was introduced on July 13 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Mike Rounds, R-S.D. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
