WASHINGTON, July 15 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (S. 1548) to "designate certain land administered by the Bureau of Land Management and the Forest Service in the State of Oregon as wilderness and national recreation areas and to make additional wild and scenic river designations in the State of Oregon."
The bill was introduced on July 13 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.< . . .
