WASHINGTON, July 17 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office of the National Coordinator announced that it expects to award up to three cooperative agreements for a certified health information technology surveillance capacity and infrastructure improvement.

The estimated total program funding available was cited as $1,250,000.
