WASHINGTON, July 13 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the trends in the Department of Education's staffing levels, use of contracting, and organizational structure. The report (GAO-17-669R) is titled "Department of Education: Staffing Levels Have Generally Decreased Over Time, while Contracting Levels Have Remained Relatively Stable".
