WASHINGTON, July 17 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service announced that it intends to award a $60,000 cooperative agreement to the St. Croix River Association of Wisconsin for teacher training and educational programming for school districts in communities that neighbor the Riverway.
The agency description of the grant states: "The St. Croix River is a national treasure, offering clean water to the Mississippi River, high quality natural ecosystems, beaut . . .
