WASHINGTON, June 28 -- Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, has introduced legislation (S. 1436) to "conserve fish and aquatic communities in the U.S. through partnerships that foster fish habitat conservation, improve the quality of life for the people of the U.S., enhance fish and wildlife-dependent recreation."
The bill was introduced on June 26 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
