WASHINGTON, June 28 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., has introduced legislation (S. 1435) to "provide an amnesty period during which veterans and their family members can register certain firearms in the National Firearm Registration and Transfer Record."
The bill was introduced on June 26. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
