WASHINGTON, June 28 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 1430) to amend the Chesapeake Bay Initiative Act of 1998 "to reauthorize the Chesapeake Bay Gateways and Watertrails Network."
The bill was introduced on June 26 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Thomas R. Carper, D-Del., Mark R Warner, D-Va., Christopher Coons, D-Del., Tim Kaine, D-Va., and Chris Van Hollen, D-Md. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
