WASHINGTON, June 28 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 1429) to amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act "to reauthorize the Chesapeake Bay Program."
The bill was introduced on June 26 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
