WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 1145) to "require adequate information regarding the tax treatment of payments under settlement agreements entered into by Federal agencies."
The bill was introduced on May 17 and was co-sponsored by Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla. It was referred to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
