WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Sen. Luther Strange, R-Ala., has introduced legislation (S. 1126) to "prohibit certain Federal funds from being available to sanctuary jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with the Federal Government on immigration matters or retaliate against border security contractors."
The bill was introduced on May 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
