WASHINGTON, April 10 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 905) to "require a report on, and to authorize technical assistance for, accountability for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide in Syria."
The bill was introduced on April 7 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Bob Corker, R-Tenn., Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., Robert Menendez, D-N.J., and Todd Young, R-Ind. It was referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
