WASHINGTON, March 28 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Institute of Food and Agriculture announced that it intends to award a discretionary grant for the Minor Crop Pest Management Program Interregional Research Project to provide safe, effective and economical protection products for growers and consumers of minor/specialty crops.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $11 million. The agency said the grant was associated with agriculture.
