WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 -- Sen. Thomas R. Carper, D-Del., has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 63) "expressing support for the designation of the week of October 29 through November 4, 2017, as National Obesity Care Week."
The resolution was introduced on Feb. 16 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
