WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 424) to amend title 5, U.S. Code, "to include certain Federal positions within the definition of law enforcement officer for retirement purposes."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 16 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
