WASHINGTON, Jan. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's National Institute of Justice announced that it intends to award up to two discretionary grants for research and evaluation on the abuse, neglect and exploitation of elderly individuals.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $1 million. The agency said the grant was associated with law, justice and legal services.
