WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the Food and Drug Administration's oversight of foreign drug establishments. The report (GAO-17-143) is titled "Drug Safety: FDA Has Improved Its Foreign Drug Inspection Program, but Needs to Assess the Effectiveness and Staffing of Its Foreign Offices".
The report was sent to Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich., chairman, Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-N.J., ranking member of the House Energy and Commerce Committe . . .
