WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the Federal Transit Administration's discretionary transit resilience grants. The report (GAO-17-20) is titled "DOT Discretionary Grants: Problems with Hurricane Sandy Transit Grant Selection Process Highlight the Need for Additional Accountability".
The report was sent to Rep. Bill Shuster, R-Pa., chairman, Rep. Peter A. DeFazio, D-Ore., ranking member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure . . .
