WASHINGTON, Jan. 23 -- Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., has introduced a joint resolution (S.Res. 4) "disapproving the action of the District of Columbia Council in approving the Death with Dignity Act of 2016."
The resolution was introduced on Jan. 12 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La. It was referred to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
