WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the extent of elder abuse by guardians. The report (GAO-17-33) is titled "Elder Abuse: The Extent of Abuse by Guardians Is Unknown, but Some Measures Exist to Help Protect Older Adults."
The report was sent to Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, chairman, Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., ranking member of the Senate Special Committee on Aging, and Sen. Orrin G. Hatch, R-Utah, chairman of the Senate Finance . . .
