WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Sen. Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa., has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 599) expressing support for the designation of October 20, 2016, as the National Day on Writing.
The resolution was introduced on Sept. 28 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., Thad Cochran, R-Miss., Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., and Roger Wicker, R-Miss. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
