WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 3465) to amend the Export Administration Act of 1979 "to include in the prohibitions on boycotts against allies of the U.S. boycotts fostered by international governmental organizations against Israel and to direct the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. to oppose boycotts against Israel."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 28 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate B . . .
