WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 3451) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to provide a refundable and advanceable tax credit for individuals with young children."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 28. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
