WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that it intends to award up to five discretionary grants for multi-center research network of innovative, non-health system-based and natural experiments approaches to alter the diabetogenic characteristics of U.S. communities.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $15 million with a ceiling of $675,000 for each award in the program.
