WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 -- Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 579) "recognizing the 40th Anniversary of the first class of women admitted to the Coast Guard Academy."
The resolution was introduced on Sept. 26 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Christopher S. Murphy, D-Conn. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee.
