WASHINGTON, Aug. 27 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' National Institutes of Health announced that it intends to award a discretionary grant for the Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence to strengthen the institution's biomedical research infrastructure.
This funding opportunity uses the exploratory grants mechanism.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $1.5 million with a ceiling of $300,000 for each award in the program . . .
