WASHINGTON, May 16 -- Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, has introduced legislation (S. 3178) to amend section 1951 of title 18 of the U.S. Code known as the Hobbs Act.
The bill was introduced on May 15 and is co-sponsored by Sens. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Rand Paul, R-Ky.
The legislation was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
