WASHINGTON, May 16 -- The U.S. Administration for Children and Families has announced that it expects to award a maximum of 10 discretionary grants to improve the handling of child welfare cases by tribal courts.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $1 million with a ceiling of $150,000 for each award under this program.
This funding is open to Native American tribal governments and organizations.
