WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Education has announced that it expects to award a maximum of 43 discretionary grants to enable state educational agencies to pay all or a portion of advanced placement test fees on behalf of eligible low-income students.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $19,962,2000.
This funding is open to state educational agencies.
