WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Science has announced that it expects to award a maximum of eight discretionary grants for research and development related to the science, engineering and technology of heavy-ion, electron and proton accelerators and associated systems.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $2 million with a ceiling of $800,000 for each award under this program.
