WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 -- Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., has introduced legislation (S. 2126) to amend the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 to "extend and improve the milk income loss contract program."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 17 and is co-sponsored by Sen. Bernard Sanders, I-Vt.
The legislation was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
