WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- The U.S. Agriculture Department's Food and Nutrition Services has announced that it expects to award a maximum of ten discretionary grants for efforts to ensure that children who are members of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program households are certified to receive free National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program meals without further need for the household to submit an application.
