WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 -- Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., has introduced legislation (S. 2110) to "settle claims of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe by authorizing the Secretary of the Interior to convey mineral rights in the State of Montana."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont.
The legislation was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
